Gray: Beyond The Horizon is an interactive, multimedia exhibition that invites its audience to journey through the many pages of Alasdair Gray’s Lanark: A Life in 4 Books.
This project was written and devised by Rachel Loughran and produced in collaboration with The Alasdair Gray Archive. The project was first exhibited by Loughran at The Glasgow School of Art postgraduate degree show as part of the MLitt (Art Writing) programme. For the show, Loughran made a replica archive based on items found at The Alasdair Gray Archive, and invited viewers to scan QR codes and delve into a virtual journey through Gray’s seminal novel Lanark.
