The Alasdair Gray Archive, in partnership with Canongate, is commissioning 4 new short animations for Early 2026 – and we want to hear from you!

The Alasdair Gray Archive (AGA) is an interdisciplinary arts organisation with creativity and commissioning at its heart. Founded in 2020 the Archive continues Alasdair Gray’s legacy by supporting new, socially conscious work inspired by his methods and ideas. Over the past five years, we’ve invited a diverse range of writers and creators to produce original work in conversation with Gray’s practice—honouring influence while making something entirely new.
